The vExpert program is a good way for people like me, that are passionate about Virtualization, have a good amount of knowledge and want to exchange on the subject by helping each other and the community.
Check out the announcement: http://blogs.vmware.com/vmtn/2016/02/vexpert-2016-award-announcement.html?
It shows how people are involved and present online, take the time to build articles, blog posts and respond to the VMware Communities on a multitude variety of topics.
But the reason why I like this group because is because it is in majority made up of passionate people like me that want to see technology move forward and stay innovative!
Directly from the mouth of the judges “The judges selected people who were particularly engaged with their community and who had developed a substantial personal platform of influence in those communities. If you feel like you were not selected in error, that’s entirely possible.”?
The list is pretty exhaustive and congratulations to everyone who made the cut.
Special shout out to a few of my colleagues and people who are a perfect example of what it is to think outside the box and share the knowledge: Chris Halstead, Dale Carter, Ray Heffer, Paul o’Doherty, Simon Long.
Looking forward to a great 2016, it’s a roller coaster of a ride but we all love it!
To finish, if you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to sign-up for this upcoming webinar, there will be a lot of new exciting stuff discussed on that day!
